They tricked me. “Come on Penny, let’s ride”. They know I love to ride. So, off we go. The next thing I know we are at some kind of office and I trot merrily in. There were other dogs there and they didn’t look too sure about this place. We sat down in a room and waited. Soon a nice lady(or so I thought) came out and called my name. She wanted me to weigh. That was OK, not bad, so I followed her to another room and she asked Mom and Dad questions. Still, not bad. Then, she made me get up on this table that rose up high and wouldn’t let me get down. Another lady came in the room and held me down. How rude! Then they stuck a sharp object in my leg! That hurt! They did that 3 times. REALLY! They said good girl Penny, but I knew better. They were not nice at all! The one that stuck me tried to give me a treat but I showed her, I spit that thing right out. Then, a man came in and poked and prodded me. UGH!
