The Ferry

 We rode a ferry that traveled from Fort Morgan to Dolphin Island.   I saw big fish jump out of the water and my Dad called them dolphins.  

But first it was really weird.  We drove the truck up on a huge boat and parked in line with other people.    There were other dogs on this big boat but Dad wouldn’t let me talk to them.   I saw funny looking birds sitting on a pole that my Mom called Pelicans. I also saw birds dive into the water, catch a fish and fly away.   Wow, that was neat.   We rode on the big boat for about 30 minutes and then we drove off.  

Then we went back to the beach.   I still don’t like the water, but I enjoy walking, and smelling all of the different smells.   After a couple of hours, we got back on the big boat and rode back to Fort Morgan.
