South Carolina

 My hoomans are visiting their litter mates. We loaded up the rolling house and headed up the road.   We rode a long time and finally got to our litter mates town!

This morning we went for a walk in the woods and we saw 2 deer.   They sprinted away when they saw me.  Mom would not let me give chase.  Ugh!    We could have played and I would have had so much fun!  Mom and dad went back to the rolling house and now we are sitting outside while they drink coffee.  Mom’s litter brother is coming to see me soon and then later we will see Dads litter brother !    Yay!!

Old Man’s Cave

 My parents took me in a big hole today.   It was cool down there but also a little scary.   We went through a dark hole that was short and narrow.  I really didn’t want to go through there but they made me.   Ugh.   There were signs saying “dangerous cliffs, stay on the path”.   My Mom is clumsy.   That scared me the most.   She falls a lot.    There wasn’t much water because they need rain here, but the scenery was pretty andI loved the smells.

Cape Cod National Seashore

 We drove to the beach today.   It was warm outside and my mom was happy about that. I remember the beach.   It’s the place with the weird water that tastes funny and moves!   I really don’t like being hit by the moving water.   You have to move fast to keep from being hit by that water.    I got hit, and it was cold water! We saw seals swimming in the water but they wouldn’t come play with me.   It was fun watching them, though.

Dismal Swamp

 Today we went to Dismal Swamp Canal in Chesapeake Virginia.  We walked over a mile on a walking trail and looked for wildlife.   There were signs that warned of black bears, reptiles and various amphibians.    All we saw were geese and a couple of butterflies.  The water looked weird, it was black.   I did not want to swim.   The weather was beautiful today but last night it was really cold.  I am tired after my long walk.
